When I wrote the first two books, the whole thing took about eight months. Since then, thanks to feedback from kind friends and my own re-reading and learning new things all the time, it’s been extensively edited. They say ‘write drunk, edit sober’, which is very good advice. Thing is, I’ll try to cut out stuff and end up with more words than I started with! The result is that Coals of Fire actually ends earlier in the story than the original stream of consciousness did. This does give me a head start on the third book, whose title is yet to be decided.
Coals of Fire is available in paperback now (apparently) and the Kindle edition is available for pre-order.

I’d be really grateful for more reviews of both books!
